Terrace Marshall Jr. – Carolina Panthers WR

The 59th overall pick in the 2021 draft has been a pleasant surprise. After leading all rookies in the preseason in receiving yards, he plans to show up big during the regular season.

The Carolina Panthers have a potentially dominant wide receiver core that can be deadly in the regular season with the addition of Terrace Marshall Jr. to D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson.

Marshall flourished in the preseason and looked well worth a second-round selection. The LSU product is another versatile guy that can play on the outside and slot.

He will see a lot of action from the slot in Week 1 and expect him to get the ball consistently. Many defenses don’t have three good corners and the New York Jets are one of them.

Marshall will cause many mismatches and produce the goods providing Sam Darnold gets enough time to go through his reads efficiently.

D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson will also draw defensive players’ eyes their way.

Marshall should be able to take advantage of this inexperienced Jets secondary and have a great start to his rookie season. Something the Panthers will need from the player if they want to get their 2021 season off on the right foot.
