What are some big changes the Carolina Panthers should consider making when they take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 2 of the 2021 season?

It was fascinating to see the Carolina Panthers on the field for their first competitive action of the 2021 season last Sunday. They breezed past the New York Jets for the most part, even if the score only finished 19-14 after some stuttering on offense in the second half.

If Week 1 was a feeler game they’d have had a hard time losing, things are going to get much more difficult for the Panthers in Week 2 at home to the New Orleans Saints, who come into the game riding on the crest of a wave following a hugely impressive victory over the Green Bay Packers.

This will tell us much more about Carolina than we learned during their season opener.

The Saints look primed to contend for another playoff spot despite some injury problems and the retirement of Drew Brees – something that not many predicted with Jameis Winston under center. One thing’s for sure, taking them lightly is not an option judging by what we saw in their opening game.

Matt Rhule must have his men ready, there is no doubt about that. If they don’t hit the ground running and make the same mistakes in this one, then Carolina will get punished.

With this in mind, here are four bold changes the Panthers should consider making against the Saints at Bank of America Stadium.
