Jameis Winston – QB

Quarterback Jameis Winston has been one of the hardest players to figure out since he was drafted first overall in 2015.

Winston spent the first five years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers until he was replaced by Tom Brady before last season, even after throwing for a career-high 5,109 yards and 33 touchdowns.

Despite the career numbers, he also threw a horrendous 30 interceptions that year. Winston has been known for making bone-headed mistakes but also proving to have tremendous talent.

Now replacing Drew Brees in New Orleans, Winston looked like a much more polished quarterback, throwing for five touchdowns and no interceptions against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1.

The weird thing is that Winston did his damage while completing just 14 of 20 passes for 148 yards.

It’s no secret that Winston can ball out, but the Carolina Panthers have to make sure the worse version of him shows up Sunday.

Carolina has to treat Winston like one of the league’s best quarterbacks in order to win.
