The Carolina Panthers’ defensive line is one of their strongest position groups on the roster. But they’ll have a tough test against New Orleans protection in front of Jameis Winston on Sunday.

The offensive line is led by right tackle Ryan Ramczyk, who is coming off a brand new five-year, $96 million deal and is one of the league’s best right tackles.

Ramcyzk will be lined up against defensive end Brian Burns and will likely see Morgan Fox and even Yetur Gross-Matos opposite of him as well.

He just doesn’t give up much, if any pressure on his quarterback, and Carolina will have to find a way to get around Ramcyzk to terrorize Winston as much as they did against Zach Wilson in Week 1 against the New York Jets.

New Orleans also has Terron Armstead manning the left tackle spot, so if they can manage Ramcyzk, that eliminates 50 percent of the offensive line threat.

This will be a stern test of their credentials. But the Panthers defensive front showed enough in Week 1 to suggest they are going to give almost every team problems throughout the campaign.
