Here are some bold predictions for the Carolina Panthers as they get set to take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

The Carolina Panthers opened up the 2021 season with a 19-14 win against the New York Jets. Enter division foe, the New Orleans Saints for another crucial matchup at Bank of America Stadium this weekend.

The Saints are coming off a surprise blowout victory over the Green Bay Packers, 38-3. They bring in a new signal-caller after Drew Brees retired, but one the Panthers are very familiar with.

That, of course, is Jameis Winston.

If the Panthers are to continue their winning ways and put themselves into serious playoff consideration, they will need to defeat a division rival that has gone 8-2 versus Carolina since the 2017 season.

The Panthers need to put together four complete quarters if they want to come out of Sunday’s contest with a 2-0 record, which would be a massive confidence boost. But here are some serious kinks that need to be resolved against a team that boasts plenty more talent than Carolina came up against in their season opener.

With this in mind, here are five bold predictions for the Panthers as they look to pick up another victory over the Saints in Week 2.
