Brian Burns – Carolina Panthers DE

Brian Burns had an outstanding showing for the season opener. He consistently pressured rookie quarterback Zach Wilson and gave the New York Jets offensive line many problems.

Burns will be facing a great tackle by the name of Ryan Ramczyk in Week 2. This will be another great matchup in the trenches.

Even though Burns faces a big challenge this week, he can still produce and ruin Jameis Winston’s day. The Florida State product can utilize his speed and get around offensive tackles all across the league.

Burns is one of the fastest edge rushers off the line in the league and this can be a nightmare for offensive tackles. He also has a sneaky spin move in his arsenal.

Again, stopping Alvin Kamara is going to be the biggest challenge for the Carolina Panthers defensive line. Burns’ combination of moves is enough to generate pressure against one of the best in the business, which Ramczyk undoubtedly is.

If the Panthers have Burns drop back in coverage he can create confusion for Winston. The edge rusher needs to be set up to do many different things to get in the quarterback’s head and throw off his game.

Burns can disrupt a game with his presence on the field. He is prepared for the task of Ramczyk and will contribute heavily to this defense.
