Taylor Moton – Carolina Panthers OT

Taylor Moton is an absolute wall on the right side. But he will have his hands full with defensive end Cameron Jordan against the New Orleans Saints.

Moton only allowed one pressure against the Jets, according to Pro Football Focus. The right tackle and Jordan are All-Pro caliber players, and this matchup will be one to keep your eyes on.

The former second-round pick can hold down the right side for quarterback Sam Darnold. But Moton may need a little bump from the right guard or tight end here and there.

Moton must outplay Jordan in the pass and run game. The offense runs through the protection provided by the offensive line.

Darnold gets a little flustered at times with pressure, and nobody wants to see that following a promising outing from the signal-caller in Week 1.

Moton can also help create lanes for Christian McCaffrey, who’ll be featured heavily once again.

Even though McCaffrey doesn’t need the biggest holes, Moton can and will set the tone. The Carolina Panthers getting back John Miller is also a plus on the inside.

Moton is showing people that he is a top-tier right tackle in this league, and I have that type of confidence in him. Week 2 will be a great test, but he is more than ready.
