Which sneaky New Orleans Saints players should the Carolina Panthers keep an eye on in Week 2 of the regular season?

The Carolina Panthers continue their home-stand to begin the 2021 season as they will take on their inner-division rival, the New Orleans Saints at Bank of American Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Both teams enter the contest undefeated as each handled their business adequately in their respective season openers.

Unfortunately for the Panthers, this has been a skewed rivalry in past years, mostly dominated by New Orleans.

In the last four years, the Panthers are a combined 1-8 against the Saints and haven’t won a home game against them since the 2016 season.

Carolina Panthers face a stern test of their credentials in Week 2.

But this is a new era for the Saints as they are now led by Jameis Winston. Despite struggling at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Winston played impressively in Week 1, leading the Saints to a dominating 38-3 victory over the Green Bay Packers.

The score says it all but the Saints truly dominated from start to finish. And while players like Alvin Kamara and Demario Davis showed out, there were plenty that unexpectedly stepped up against the Packers that could cause Carolina some trouble on Sunday.

With that in mind, here are five sneaky threats to keep an eye on when the Panthers host the Saints this weekend.
