Which Houston Texans players must the Carolina Panthers keep quiet in Week 3 to start the season 3-0?

The Carolina Panthers will be in the national spotlight in Week 3, as they look to start the season 3-0 for the first time since their record 15-1 year in 2015.

After a dominating performance against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, the Panthers will have a short week as they travel to face the Houston Texans for Thursday Night Football.

Luckily for Carolina, the Texans will be starting a rookie at quarterback in Davis Mills, with Tyrod Taylor injured and Deshaun Watson still being inactive due to pending sexual assault allegations.

With two-straight dominating defensive performances in the books for the Panthers, they can’t let up on a short week. Even with Mills under center.

Carolina is 3-2 against Houston all-time, winning the last three games between the two teams. This Texans team surprised in Week 1 with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars but they still aren’t a very good team.

Watson is unavailable, and there’s no more J.J. Watt, DeAndre Hopkins, or Jadeveon Clowney to scare teams.

So, who are the Texans’ threats? Here is a look at five players the Panthers must keep quiet to beat them.
