5 Texans players the Carolina Panthers must keep quiet in Week 3

Justin Reid – S
The brother of former Carolina Panthers safety Eric Reid is one of the Houston Texans’ top defensive leaders in his fourth NFL season.
Justin Reid is still just 24 years old and is in a contract season for the Texans. So the player is keen to make sure he gets paid this offseason.
In Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Browns, Reid forced a big fumble and had an interception. So he’s a problem that the Panthers should take extremely seriously in their first road contest of the campaign.
Reid has an interception in each of the first two games this season and he’ll have a big test against Carolina’s wide receiver group that consists of D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson among others.
With so many options in the Panthers’ receiver room, they’ll have to use their speed and agility to limit the defensive presence that Reid brings to Houston.
Reid has never had more than three picks in a season. So if he manages to get one off Carolina’s signal-caller Sam Darnold this week, he would already tie his career-high.
Darnold needs to keep his eyes out for Reid. A big-time threat on the backend that needs to be accounted for.
