Here are some bold predictions as the Carolina Panthers hit the road to take on the Houston Texans in Week 3.

The Carolina Panthers head into their Thursday Night Football game at the Houston Texans fresh off a huge 26-7 division win versus the New Orleans Saints. There is no time to celebrate as the quick turnaround for Week 3 with only a few days to prepare.

The Texans lost a close contest with the Cleveland Browns, 31-21, on Sunday. There are no moral victories in the NFL and that is definitely not the case for Houston in Week 2.

There is also quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s hamstring injury forcing rookie Davis Mills into the mix.

The former Stanford signal-caller came into the game against Cleveland and put together an average performance by going eight-for-18 for 102 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

This will be the Panthers‘ second rookie quarterback they face in three weeks, but their first test on the road. Carolina is 2-0 for the first time since the 2017 season.

Everything seems to be pointing in favor of the Panthers for this tilt. But Carolina cannot be described as an automatic win organization just yet no matter what troubles the opposition is going through.

Without further ado, here are five bold predictions for the Panthers as they look to stay undefeated in Week 3 versus the Texans.
