D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR

D.J. Moore has been consistent the past two weeks for the Carolina Panthers. As usual, the wide receiver has put up solid numbers and always gives defenses an endless amount of trouble. Expect this to continue in Week 3 versus a Houston Texans secondary that struggles at times.

We all know Moore is a special wide receiver, but in a prime-time game, he will be needed. Especially during times when quarterback Sam Darnold comes under pressure.

Moore had a couple of great catches last Sunday against the New Orleans Saints and even caught his first touchdown of the 2021 season. He is a great talent to have and can be used to the Panthers’ advantage.

This week using Moore on end-around plays and trickery will once again be a useful tactic for this offense. His ability to run the ball is just as good as catching the ball, so his versatility is huge and something offensive coordinator Joe Brady will look to make the most out of at the Texans and beyond.

Moore is the ultimate chess piece for the Panthers offense and he will continue his success in Week 3 against the Texans. Houston traded their best cornerback in Bradley Roby, so they’re frailer than ever in the secondary.
