Sam Darnold – Carolina Panthers QB

Sam Darnold looked solid for the second week in a row, throwing for 305 yards, two touchdowns, and one head-scratching interception in a win against the New Orleans Saints. The 24-year old almost put up19 points in fantasy for the second week in a row and is slowly but surely quieting the doubters who are hanging on to his New York Jets performances.

On that note, the Carolina Panthers will face some pretty crummy pass defenses in the coming weeks, so Darnold’s numbers should continue to look good.

Start or Sit Week 3?

START.

Run to the waiver wire and grab Darnold.

The Panthers may be the best offense the Houston Texans have faced so far and their defense has already given up an average of 18.25 fantasy points to quarterbacks through two weeks.

I also expect Carolina’s defense to give Houston problems so Darnold should have plenty of opportunities to put up numbers and score points.
