Which Carolina Panthers players have soaring stock after the first three weeks of the 2021 season?

To say it’s been an impressive start by the Carolina Panthers in 2021 would be a big understatement. Matt Rhule’s team currently sits with a 3-0 record following their Week 3 triumph at the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football, which was yet another indicator that things are heading in the right direction under the new regime.

There will be plenty of stiff challenges to come. The Panthers also need to cope without the services of Christian McCaffrey, Jaycee Horn, and Juston Burris for an extended period of time after all three influential players went down with injuries in the team’s latest outing.

All this points to progress. Even if what comes next is equally if not more important for a group that has taken the NFL by storm so far.

With this in mind, here are five Panthers players whose stock is soaring after the first three weeks of the 2021 campaign.

DaQuan Jones – Carolina Panthers DT

The arrival of DaQuan Jones has been one of the shrewdest moves made by the Carolina Panthers this offseason. His stout presence against the run and ability to eat up space has been a real asset so far, with his partnership alongside stud defensive tackle Derrick Brown getting better with every passing game.

Jones was a relatively late arrival in free agency after a standout career with the Tennessee Titans. Carolina’s defense has been a formidable adversary so far and the veteran’s production has played a big part in that.

Having Jones alongside Brown gives the Panthers more stability. Something that was lacking during the previous campaign after Kawann Short went to the injured/reserve list.
