D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR

One is running out of superlatives to describe the production of D.J. Moore. The wide receiver is keen to make the most out of additional production from the quarterback position in 2021, with the Carolina Panthers relying heavily on the former first-round pick through Week 3.

This is a responsibility Moore is taking very seriously judging by his efforts on the field. He’s been targeted more than any other wideout by Sam Darnold and seems to always be on hand to make a big play when needed.

Moore headed into the new campaign right on the cusp of elite status. He’s brought in 22 receptions from 31 targets for 285 receiving yards and one touchdown so far, which has also come with an outstanding 82.7 grade from Pro Football Focus for good measure.

It’s been a tremendous start for Moore. Something that was clearly needed when one considers how little Robby Anderson’s been involved on the opposite side of the field.

If Moore can keep this up throughout the campaign, then the Panthers are going to shell out some serious money to get the Maryland product extended heading into his fifth-year option. One thing is for sure, his asking price is going up with every strong performance.

The Panthers struck gold with Moore. A thriving wide receiver with the world at his feet.
