Haason Reddick – Carolina Panthers OLB

There was little doubt Haason Reddick came to the Carolina Panthers on the back of a career year with the Arizona Cardinals. Judging by his opening three contests, building on this is something he is more than capable of.

Reddick has been an absolute revelation for the Panthers. Reuniting with his former college coach Matt Rhule – who knows exactly how to get the most out of his abilities – already looks to be a shrewd bit of business from both parties.

Carolina’s defense has set the NFL alight through Week 3. They lead the league in multiple statistical categories and Reddick’s contribution has played a substantial role in this incredible turnaround.

The former first-round pick bet on himself this offseason, taking a one-year deal in pursuit of a megabucks contract in 2022.

So far, so good.

If Reddick keeps this up, he’ll be in an incredibly strong position financially. And the Panthers would be wise to pay up.

With Jaycee Horn and Juston Burris now sidelined, there will be more pressure on the front seven doing damage to take the load off Carolina’s secondary. A challenge Reddick and others are sure to relish in the coming weeks.
