5 Carolina Panthers set for more playing time at the Cowboys in Week 4

Tommy Tremble – Carolina Panthers TE
It was obviously a difficult decision for the Carolina Panthers to part ways with tight end Dan Arnold in favor of acquiring C.J. Henderson. Head coach Matt Rhule stated as much in his presser once the move was confirmed.
This has a lot to do with the confidence Carolina has in Tommy Tremble making the necessary improvements to become their leading option at the position. The third-round pick is supremely gifted from an athletic standpoint and made a lasting impact in the team’s convincing victory at the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football.
The Panthers will lean on Ian Thomas until Tremble is ready. But expect to see the Notre Dame product involved much more heavily at the Dallas Cowboys in the wake of Arnold’s departure.
Tremble is a ruthless blocker that is bringing on his pass-catching all the time. He has the size and range to be a real matchup mismatch in the right situations, which offensive coordinator Joe Brady will surely put him in moving forward.
There should also be plenty of space for Tremble to work thanks to the abundance of weapons at quarterback Sam Darnold’s disposal. Even though this has been diminished somewhat by Christian McCaffrey’s injury.
Hopes are high for Tremble, who has a substantial opportunity awaiting him for the remainder of the campaign.
