Dak Prescott – QB

It wasn’t clear how Dak Prescott would perform this season after suffering a gruesome leg injury last year and missing a lot of training camp with a shoulder problem. But through three games, the quarterback hasn’t missed a beat for the Dallas Cowboys.

Prescott is performing like one of the league’s best signal-callers once again and he has the poise that any team would want in their quarterback. Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule even compared him to Peyton and Eli Manning this week with how he calls plays and gets the ball out quickly.

That’s why Carolina needs to do everything they can to limit Prescott. If they can quiet his influence, the entire Dallas offense will suffer.

That might seem like a tall task, but it’s possible.

Prescott doesn’t throw many interceptions so the Panthers have to also limit his offensive assets and keep him on his toes the entire game. Carolina has been one of the league’s best in pressuring the quarterback this season but against a prolific offensive line, Phil Snow needs to get creative.

The Cowboys only go as far as Prescott takes them. It’s vital the Panthers don’t allow him time to get into a rhythm early on.
