Micah Parsons – LB

He’s been overshadowed by Trevon Diggs the first three games but rookie linebacker Micah Parsons has had an extremely strong start to his career.

The No. 12 overall selection by the Cowboys this year has 1.5 sacks, eight solo tackles, and six quarterback pressures. It seems that Parsons is just beginning to make his mark in the NFL and the Carolina Panthers offensive line will have its work cut out for them trying to stop him from making an impact against Sam Darnold this Sunday.

Rookie running back Chuba Hubbard will also have a challenge trying to fill in for Christian McCaffrey with a guy like Parsons on the field. So this will be a game that the former Penn State sensation is no doubt looking forward to enormously.

It remains to be seen how Carolina will utilize Hubbard and Royce Freeman. But offensive coordinator Joe Brady will have to get creative to try and quiet down Parsons – a challenge that’s proven difficult for the three teams he’s come up against this season so far.

Versatility is something the Panthers love in their players. Parsons has this in abundance and he needs to be accounted for at all times.
