Carolina Panthers fantasy football outlook for Week 4 at the Cowboys
Chuba Hubbard and Royce Freeman – Carolina Panthers RBs
Obviously, there’s not too much data to go by this season, but all signs point to the Carolina Panthers’ fourth-round draft pick, running back Chuba Hubbard, to be the next man up until Christian McCaffrey returns.
Hubbard looked a bit more comfortable in the second half against the Houston Texans, but he’s going to have to grow up quickly against a tougher opponent in the Dallas Cowboys.
If Hubbard struggles, fourth-year rusher Royce Freeman may be able to keep things afloat. But it’ll be interesting to see how the coaching staff handles the distribution of Hubbard and Freeman’s carries on Sunday afternoon.
Start or Sit in Week 4?
SIT Both.
Carolina will probably have to run the ball often and win the time-of-possession battle in order to win the game, which bodes well for Hubbard and possibly Freeman. But I’m willing to sit both due to Dallas being the eighth-best defense against running backs in fantasy and currently allowing the sixth-least rushing yards per game.
