Zane Gonzalez made his only field goal attempt against the Houston Texans along with three successful extra-point tries. The veteran had a modest six fantasy points, but at this point, the Carolina Panthers brass has to be happy with what he showed on Thursday night.

Start or Sit in Week 4?

SIT.

This could be a low-scoring affair, so Gonzalez may not get a ton of reps.

Even if it isn’t, the Panthers are going to have to score touchdowns rather than settling for field goals to keep up with Dallas’ high-powered offense.

The Panthers’ defense continues to lead the league through three weeks and lived up to the hype on national TV, albeit against a rookie quarterback. The four sacks and nine points allowed to the Texans was enough for eight total fantasy points – 11th best in Week 3.

Carolina hasn’t played against an offense with the amount of firepower that Dallas has. While the defense may do enough to win the game, I’d stay away.
