New York Giants

Much like the situation in Philadelphia, everything is far from rosy with the New York Giants through Week 3. Joe Judge’s interesting training methods during training camp haven’t had the desired effect so far and if things don’t start trending upward at some stage, it could result in an early firing from the role.

Outside of a porous offensive line, there does seem to be enough talent in New York to perform better than they are. Quarterback Daniel Jones is still prone to fumbling the ball, but his overall production hasn’t been the worst in the world by any stretch of the imagination.

Players like Saquon Barkley and Kenny Golladay have been virtual non-factors, with their defense also flattering to deceive for the most part.

All signs point to Dave Gettleman – the former Carolina Panthers general manager – being removed before Judge. Although it wouldn’t be the biggest shock in the world to see the Giants clean house with another dismal end-of-season record and a high-end draft selection.

Joe Brady’s progressive thinking would be a breath of fresh air at MetLife Stadium. But he’d need to hit the ground running and avoid the obvious complications that could arrive from a poor start with the harsh New York media watching on.
