What are some keys to victory for the Carolina Panthers during their Week 4 trip to the Dallas Cowboys?

A 3-0 start to the season for the Carolina Panthers has fans looking toward the end of the year and a possible playoff run and with good reason. This team has been the best on defense and pretty good on offense as well through three weeks.

This week, however, is going to be the first big challenge of the year.

Where the Panthers have been dominant on defense, the Dallas Cowboys have been just as good on offense. Setting up a matchup of juggernauts that will be incredibly entertaining to watch.

I have made the comparison before but this matchup will be strikingly similar to Super Bowl 50. A team that has an offense running on all cylinders with a weak point along the offensive line that pairs with an above-average defense with a knack for turnovers.

The opposition, a team with the top defense in the league that specializes in getting after the quarterback and has an offense that can score just enough to win games.

We can all hope for a similar outcome to that game.

This will be difficult because even with how unstoppable that 2015 team was on offense, it had nowhere near the talent at its disposal that the Cowboys have in 2021.

The Panthers will have to contend with the best wide receiver room in football as well as one of the best tight end and running back tandems the league has seen in recent memory.

Even the best defense is going to get beat at some point against an overwhelming amount of talent like that. It’s just a matter of how often.

On top of that is the fact that the Cowboys’ defense, while somewhat inconsistent, leads the NFL in takeaways.

So how can the Panthers pull out a win against such a complete team? Let’s take a look at four keys to victory.
