3 winners and 3 losers from Panthers loss at the Cowboys in Week 4

Jeremy Chinn – Carolina Panthers S (kind of)
It was hard to find another winner for the Carolina Panthers in this game and I’ve praised the Dallas Cowboys enough already.
I’ve got to give this one to Jeremy Chinn because he should have had a forced fumble. As mentioned earlier, the refs called his tackle on tight end Dalton Schultz a “forward progress” and it was ruled incomplete.
However, any knowledgable football fan could tell that this should’ve been a forced fumble which Carolina would’ve recovered.
“How is that forward progress?”

After the game, Chinn said he hadn’t seen the play yet but everyone on the team thought the ball was out and it was unchallengeable.
The reason Chinn is a winner still is because it was one of the best solo defensive plays of the day. In total, Chinn finished the game with six tackles.
It’s unfortunate he didn’t get this forced fumble but he brought energy the entire game. Something the Panthers will need in abundance over the next 13 games.
