Here are some bold predictions as the Carolina Panthers head back home to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5.

The Carolina Panthers go into Week 5 in a position they have yet to be in all season. Coming off a loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

The Philadelphia Eagles also come into the contest having lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, their third reverse in a row after beginning the season with a win. So they will look to right the ship this week when they head to Charlotte.

Jalen Hurts leads the offense for the Eagles and gives the Panthers yet another tall task in having to deal with defensively. It’s the quarterback’s ability to hurt you both through the air and with his feet that will cause the most concern for the Carolina defenders.

In their Week 4 defeat, Hurts was still able to throw for 387 yards on 48 attempts and two touchdowns, while rushing for 47 yards on eight carries.

A familiar situation presents the Panthers, as they head into another contest where they will be favored in. It is still too early to tell if Christian McCaffrey will have shown the coaching staff enough throughout the week to be active for this contest.

So, let’s get to the five bold predictions for the Panthers as they try to get back into the win column in Week 5 against the Eagles.
