What are some keys to victory for the Carolina Panthers as they look to bounce back against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5?

Well, that was certainly not the outcome any Carolina Panthers fan wanted on Sunday, but living in the past is no way to be a winning football team.

There was little good to be taken from the Panthers showing in Week 4 but there were a few silver linings to build on. Namely, the performance of D.J. Moore further solidifying his place as an elite receiver in the NFL and the continued dominance of Donte Jackson on the outside.

However, that’s where the positives end and the storm clouds begin.

The offensive line was once again a disaster, the defense completely imploded in the face of an effective Dallas Cowboys offense, there was nothing good about the third quarter, and the run game was non-existent.

The Panthers got punched in the face and it is as simple as that.

There is a lot that needs to be fixed in Week 5 and to be honest the biggest part of that is something that may not be fixable at this point, the offensive line.

The low-ceiling veterans that were either signed or brought back in the offseason have shown no reason they should be kept around for the long term and the coaching staff hasn’t trusted rookies Brady Christensen or Deonte Brown enough to give them a chance at starting.

With that said, the Panthers will have the opportunity to bounce back against a disappointing Philadelphia Eagles team in Week 5.

The Eagles started off the season strong with a dominant win against the Atlanta Falcons that had many sportscasters lauding Jalen Hurts as a possible star in the league. How quickly things change.

After stumbling to a 1-3 record, albeit against a very strong schedule, the Eagles desperately need a win to get things back on track. You never know what a cornered animal will do, after all.

So how can the Panthers pick themselves up off the matt and grind out a win to get things back on track? Let’s take a look at their keys to victory for Week 5.
