Dallas Goedert – TE

When it hasn’t been Jalen Hurts or Devonta Smith, tight end Dallas Goedert has been the next best offensive weapon for the Philadelphia Eagles this season.

Goedert moved into the main tight end with Zach Ertz aging and so far he’s been a great reliable piece for Hurts across the middle and in the red zone. Something the Carolina Panthers have sorely lacked at the position since they parted ways with Greg Olsen.

The former South Dakota State star is in the final year of his contract and is looking to prove why he deserves a big deal. Making him that much scarier of an opposing player that the Panthers must take seriously in pursuit of a 4-1 record.

Carolina allowed Dallas Cowboys tight end, Dalton Schultz, to have a two-touchdown game last week and they can’t afford the same thing to happen with Goedert. Otherwise, the consequences could be severe.

Even with Ertz still receiving some targets, Goedert has gotten his fair share. The more the Panthers can remove him from the game-plan, the better their chances will be of coming away from the game at Bank of America Stadium with a win.
