Avonte Maddox – CB

The Philadelphia Eagles defense doesn’t have many star players on it and it’s hard to find one guy that can dominate a game. But Avonte Maddox has shown the potential to be one of the better cornerbacks in the league.

While his stats haven’t been eye-popping this year, he was playing like a top-five slot corner in the league before struggling against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3.

Maddox was awful last season but has bounced back rather nicely during the current campaign and cannot be underestimated by any stretch.

Through the first three games, Maddox has allowed just 27 yards on seven targets.

Maddox will be lining up against Terrace Marshall Jr. and Sam Darnold has to make sure his throws are convincing to put the former LSU stud in the best possible position to succeed.

Marshall has been involved in the offense more than Robby Anderson so far, so there will likely be a lot of looks coming his way. The second-round pick has to make sure he gets the best of Maddox to keeps Carolina’s offense flowing.
