Robby Anderson – Carolina Panthers WR

  • Over 3.5 receptions (-145)

Last week we backed Robby Anderson to gain more than four receptions at the Dallas Cowboys. The Carolina Panthers seemed intent on getting the wide receiver more involved without Christian McCaffrey and expect this trend to continue with the All-Pro unlikely to participate once again.

D.J. Moore is the Panthers’ No. 1 option and should be shadowed by Darius Slay throughout the contest. This might just open up enough space for Anderson to do his thing providing chemistry improves with quarterback Sam Darnold.

Anderson was getting open consistently in Dallas. Darnold left a couple of big plays on the field where the former Temple star is concerned and if this can be rectified, it should result in a productive partnership between the duo moving forward.

It’s a mystery as to why Anderson has started the season so slowly. Especially considering the player and Darnold worked together previously on the New York Jets.

However, there were definite signs of life last weekend and if Slay sticks with the supreme threat of Moore consistently, expect Anderson to continue trending in the right direction.

Anderson gaining more than 3.5 receptions in Week 5 seems like a nice wager. One the wideout is more than capable of attaining.
