Kirk Cousins – QB

Kirk Cousins is probably the most complicated quarterback to figure out in the NFL. He’s either very good and has one of the best arms in the league or he fails to show up and loses his team the game.

The question for the Carolina Panthers this week is which Cousins will show up?

They need to hope the bad one does. Although there’s been little chance of that so far this season as Cousins is among the top signal-callers in the NFL currently.

Cousins had a great first three games to start the year and finds himself 11th in the league in passing with 10 touchdowns. He also boasts a 103.7 passer rating and has thrown just two interceptions.

The former Michigan State star has also only been sacked nine times as his offensive line continues to slowly improve. They might even get first-round pick Christian Darrisaw into the starting lineup for the first time in Week 6.

Minnesota’s offense relies heavily on Cousins right now. If he’s able to be put under duress by the Panthers’ defense, that lowers the Vikings’ chances of winning tremendously.

We don’t want another “You like that?!” postgame presser. But Cousins is much more than just a catchy slogan these days.
