Here are some bold predictions as the Carolina Panthers look to bounce back at home against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6.

The Carolina Panthers find themselves in their first losing streak of the 2021 season. Truth be told, if we were to predict their record five games into the season, 3-2 wouldn’t be so bad.

It’s just the way these last two losses have come about. The Panthers have led at halftime of every game this season. It has been the third quarter that has been their bugaboo and reason for not being able to hold onto those advantages.

Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings come to Charlotte riding a 2-3 record but have been competitive in each of their three losses. In Week 5, they needed a Greg Joseph 54-yard field goal to hold off the Detroit Lions.

Dalvin Cook was sidelined with an injury, but that did not stop the Vikings from running the football with success. Alexander Mattison rushed for 113 yards on 25 carries.

The Panthers will look to halt that rushing attack, something they were unable to do last week with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles, as well as the week before in their first loss at the Dallas Cowboys.

So, let’s get to the five bold predictions for the Panthers as they try to right the ship in Week 6 against the Vikings.
