Which Carolina Panthers players are the most important at the New York Giants in Week 7 in pursuit of ending their recent slump?

Things are at a critical stage for the Carolina Panthers in terms of their fortunes in 2021. A strong start to the campaign saw expectations reach levels this roster is clearly not ready for before a three-game losing streak has left many wondering just what the remaining 11 contests are going to hold for this organization.

All it takes is some doubt like this to completely derail a campaign. So the Panthers have much work ahead of them if they want to get their season back on track at the earliest possible opportunity against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.

This represents a good opportunity to get back to winning ways. The Giants are clearly in turmoil at 1-5, with significant questions being asked of Joe Judge and general manager Dave Gettleman, who took his fair share of criticism during his time with the Panthers.

The Minnesota Vikings game was littered with the same problems. Simply put, it’s time for everyone associated with the Panthers to put up or shut up.

With this in mind, here are the five most important Carolina players in Week 7.

Jeremy Chinn – Carolina Panthers S

It remains to be seen whether threats like Kenny Golladay will be fit enough to take part, but this represents a good chance for Jeremy Chinn to really stamp his mark on the 2021 season against a Giants offense that doesn’t boast many healthy weapons for quarterback Daniel Jones to call upon.

Chinn’s gone through a period of transition moving back to the safety spot through the first six games. Something that wasn’t entirely unexpected and he isn’t being helped by the production of Sean Chandler and Sam Franklin in the absence of Juston Burris.

There is an abundance of talent where Chinn is concerned. So the Panthers need to find a better way of getting him around the football.
