Devontae Booker – RB

Considering how many injuries the New York Giants have on a roster that already isn’t the most talented, we had to dig deep for this choice.

The only reason Devontae Booker is here is because of how the Carolina Panthers have been awful against the run in two of the past three weeks.

Booker is filling in for Saquon Barkley and while he’s obviously no Ezekiel Elliott or Dalvin Cook, who both ran all over the Panthers defense, Booker should be used a lot with New York lacking many of their top receivers.

Although Booker has always been a backup-type running back, he has shown explosiveness throughout his career and cannot be underestimated if given enough holes to burst through.

If the Giants commit to running the ball, Booker has the ability to breakout. And they might see this as an opportunity with outside linebacker Shaq Thompson expected to miss his third successive game through injury.

However, if Carolina keeps him out of the game plan and puts the game in Daniel Jones’ hands, that would severely limit the beaten-up Giants offense.
