Chuba Hubbard – Carolina Panthers RB

Chuba Hubbard has answered the bell as a rusher. While 16 carries for 61 yards and a touchdown doesn’t jump off the page, the rookie has already shown that he can handle more.

Against the Philadelphia Eagles, Hubbard totaled 134 total yards on 29 total carries. The Carolina Panthers plan a commitment to the run moving forward, which can work with the former Oklahoma State star in the backfield despite Christian McCaffrey’s continued absence.

Start or Sit Week 7?

START.

The Panthers face another defense that can’t stop the run. The New York Giants have allowed more than 137 rushing yards per game and 29 fantasy points per game to running backs.

Running the ball on Sunday should be a no-brainer. Hubbard has the skill and vision to make the Giants pay if the Panthers give him plenty of touches, but much will also depend on how the offensive line holds up against a defensive front that contains Leonard Williams and Dexter Lawrence.

However, as matchups go, this is as good as it gets for Hubbard and one that should bring around some success and plenty of fantasy points.
