Which Atlanta Falcons players must the Carolina Panthers keep quiet in Week 8 in pursuit of salvaging their 2021 season?

A month ago, this matchup would have heavily favored the Carolina Panthers as they looked like a team on the rise with their 3-0 start. The Atlanta Falcons, on the other hand, entered this season looking ready for a rebuild and started 0-2.

However, Carolina has gone on to lose four-straight games. Atlanta has won three of its last four and is coming off its bye week.

Historically, the Panthers don’t have the best luck against the division-rival Falcons with a 19-33 all-time record. Carolina had lost five straight to the Dirty Birds until splitting the two games between them last year.

This season looked like the one where the Panthers would be the far superior team. But Atlanta has exceeded expectations after its blowout loss in Week 1.

Carolina Panthers must contain a potent Falcons offense in Week 8.

The one thing about the Falcons is that they still aren’t good defensively. Offensively, they have tons of weapons. It’s almost the exact opposite of what’s taking place in Carolina right now.

With that said, here are five players that the Panthers have to keep quiet in order to snap their losing streak.
