D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR
- Over 83.5 receiving yards (-120)
It was a sensational start to the 2021 season for D.J. Moore, who looked like he was ready to enter the elite wide receiver category in Year 4 of his professional career.
Things haven’t gone according to plan over the last few games, which coincides with Sam Darnold’s poor production and the Carolina Panthers missing their best weapon in Christian McCaffrey.
The All-Pro’s absence means opposing defenses can focus on stopping Moore with consistent double-teams. He has not broken the 100-yard receiving mark since Week 4 and has 73 yards in each of his last two contests.
There is nothing to suggest Moore is regressing, although there are a couple of drops he’d like to have back. But the former first-round pick needs his quarterback to be more efficient to produce.
This represents a good matchup for Moore despite cornerback A.J. Terrell coming through the concussion protocol. The Atlanta Falcons are giving up 250.5 yards per game through the air, so if Darnold can get into a rhythm then the Maryland product could be the primary beneficiary.
With this in mind, we’re taking Moore to go over 83.5 yards receiving at odds of -120 (bet $120 to win $100). Hopefully, it will pay off for bettors and the Panthers.
