Robby Anderson leads the Carolina Panthers in yards

Things just haven’t fallen Robby Anderson‘s way this season. The wide receiver has failed to build on a promising 2020 campaign with the Carolina Panthers and if this continues, it might see the former Temple star become trade bait next spring.

There’s a lot of football to be played between now and then. Anderson has the talent to turn things around and all it’s going to take is one big moment to potentially get the wideout back on the right track.

Drops haven’t helped. Neither has a lack of chemistry with Sam Darnold despite the duo having some promising moments on the New York Jets.

However, with Darnold unlikely to participate against the New England Patriots, it could be an opening for Anderson to get his season back on track.

P.J. Walker and Anderson go back a long way from their time together in college. The pair have a close relationship and this could be the key to a mutually beneficial arrangement on Sunday.

This is a long shot – especially considering how much Anderson has struggled this season. But with Walker manning the plate rather than Darnold, we’re tipping the player to lead the Panthers in yards gained in the passing game this weekend.
