5 Cardinals players the Carolina Panthers must keep quiet in Week 10
By Jason Huber
Which Arizona Cardinals players must the Carolina Panthers keep quiet in Week 10 to try and get a huge upset win?
The Carolina Panthers Week 10 matchup is a game between two teams headed in completely different directions. Unless Cam Newton helps provide a much-needed spark, of course.
The Panthers have lost five of their last six games and will be starting back up P.J. Walker under center this week as Newton works his way back into the system. Meanwhile, despite injuries to Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins, the Arizona Cardinals hold the best record in the NFL and will look to keep their hot streak going.
The Cardinals have lost to the Panthers five-straight times with their last win coming back in 2013, but it seems like that might change this year.
Having missed the playoffs every year since facing Carolina in the NFC Championship in 2015, Arizona is finally rebuilt after a few years of misery and is balanced on both sides of the ball.
Led by head coach Kliff Kingsbury, the Cardinals offense has weapons every direction you look, and their defense has arguably overperformed, ranking third in points against.
It would be a shocker if the Panthers manage to win this game. The only way they could is if Arizona is too banged up from injuries.
Carolina Panthers must fix things on offense
The one thing that the Panthers do have going for them this week is their defense. Phil Snow’s unit has continued to be one of the league’s best and has been almost the sole reason that the team has even remained in games.
With an offense as good as the Cardinals, Carolina will have to rely on their defense even more. Especially with Walker at quarterback behind a banged-up offensive line.
With that said, even though it should be the entire team, here are five Arizona players that the Panthers must keep quiet.
