D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR

D.J. Moore had his quietest day of the year against the New England Patriots. He caught three of seven targets for 32 yards and added on two rushing attempts for 14 yards in Sunday’s loss for a total of 7.60 fantasy points.

You have to imagine the Cam Newton news put a smile on the faces of all of Moore’s fantasy owners. And the wideout also looked like the cat that got the cream in a presser following the bombshell move this week.

Start or Sit in Week 10?

Buyer Beware.

The Arizona Cardinals have been stingy against running backs. However, they’ve had a tougher time with wideouts.

They’ve allowed amongst the league’s worst 12 touchdowns to wide receivers this year and about 36 fantasy points per game. However, the effectiveness of the Carolina Panthers passing game with P.J. Walker under center would make me nervous to put Moore in the lineup.

Robby Anderson – Carolina Panthers WR

Rinse and repeat with Robby Anderson. He caught one of three targets for two yards and a whopping 1.20 fantasy points.

On the bright side, Anderson is an interesting waiver wire or buy-low candidate now that Newton has the opportunity to play under center in the near future. His frustrations with former New York Jets teammate Sam Darnold were there for all to see once again and this move could give the Temple product a new lease of life over the second half of the campaign.

Start or Sit in Week 10?

SIT.

This game may tell us a little bit about what Anderson is made of.

It’s no secret his connection with Darnold was non-existent this season. But if he steps up here, we may have a clearer picture on why Anderson had been having a slow year.

I wouldn’t advise risking it, leave him on the bench. However, do not remove him from your roster entirely just yet.
