5 bold predictions for the Carolina Panthers at Cardinals in Week 10

Carolina Panthers CB Stephon Gilmore keeps up his INT streak
If Kyler Murray is unable to participate – and it appears unlikely according to reports – then the Arizona Cardinals will once again be relying on backup Colt McCoy. The former Texas star performed well against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10, but the Carolina Panthers defense is a far more ruthless animal to overcome.
Had the offense been more efficient, then the stats regarding Phil Snow’s unit would look even better. But it’s hard not to look at their production through the first nine contests and not be impressed.
Stephon Gilmore’s arrival has given the Panthers a completely different dimension. The All-Pro cornerback has proved his quality after finally overcoming a torn quad and has two interceptions in as many games to begin his career.
The Cardinals still have some outstanding weapons in the passing game despite DeAndre Hopkins potentially missing another game. A.J. Green, Zach Ertz, Christian Kirk, and the returning Rondale Moore make this a difficult proposition and something Gilmore needs to be ready for.
The former South Carolina star is experienced enough to know what a substantial challenge this is. Gilmore’s level of production coupled with his expert leadership skills make him an integral part of Carolina’s game plan, so if he can secure another takeaway to extend his streak, it would help massively.
