Which Carolina Panthers must produce the goods during their tough test at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10 of the 2021 season?

Well, that was quite a week.

A dismal loss at home to the New England Patriots was swiftly followed by Sam Darnold getting put out of his misery and onto the reserve/injured list, leaving the Carolina Panthers facing the prospect of moving forward with backup P.J. Walker under center.

Or so we thought.

Cam Newton‘s sensational return was a bombshell. Something that’s reenergized the Panthers in the hope his presence can lift this team to an unlikely playoff spot.

Newton might not play much of a part at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10. A stern test of the team’s credentials against one of the leading Super Bowl contenders through nine weeks.

Without further ado, here are five Panthers players that must produce the goods at the State Farm Stadium.

Taylor Moton – Carolina Panthers OT

Considering all the disruption and injuries to the offensive line lately, it’s absolutely essential that Taylor Moton plays to or exceeds expectations in Week 10. The right tackle has struggled at times this season but is easily the most talented member of this group and a team leader for good measure.

Moton is going to be tested heavily at the Cardinals. Whether it’s Chandler Jones or Markus Golden flying off the left edge, the former second-round pick needs to provide stability in pass protection and create some lanes on running downs.

Not the easiest of tasks. But nothing that Moton isn’t capable of.
