Haason Reddick – Carolina Panthers OLB

With Brian Burns questionable thanks to an ankle injury suffered at the hands of Mac Jones’ dirty play last weekend, there could be even more responsibility on the shoulders of Haason Reddick against his former team.

Reddick was drafted in the first round by the Arizona Cardinals and enjoyed a career year with the franchise in 2020 en route to an impressive 12.5 sacks. This wasn’t enough to get a new deal and he decided to link up with Matt Rhule on the Carolina Panthers.

Any doubts that Reddick’s production last season was a flash in the pan have already subsided. The outside linebacker has been nothing short of outstanding for the Panthers this season, accumulating eight sacks, 41 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 12 quarterback hits, and 19 pressures through nine games.

He has missed just two tackles in this span, according to Pro Football Reference.

There will be an added sense of motivation for Reddick. One that should hopefully come with another outstanding display in familiar surroundings.

The Panthers need Reddick at the top of his game against an offense that might be getting Kyler Murray back under center. And the player’s input during scheming for the contest will have been invaluable.
