The Carolina Panthers had their most dominating win of the season against one of the best teams in the NFL, meaning there will only be winners this week.

The return of Cam Newton couldn’t have been written up any better on Sunday as the Carolina Panthers topped off an eventful week with a resounding victory at the Arizona Cardinals.

While Newton didn’t start the game and only saw limited playing time behind P.J. Walker at quarterback, his one-of-a-kind energy was visibly contagious and these Panthers looked a completely different team.

The Cardinals, who entered the game with the best record in the NFL, were without their starting signal-caller Kyler Murray but they still managed to win without him in convincing fashion just a week ago, so the Carolina success is still impressive.

The Panthers took control early on with a 17-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back, thanks to their continued strong defense. After having lost five of their past six games, this not only was a much-needed victory but could also be a season-changer.

Now 5-5, Carolina is just one game back in the win column of the NFC South Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is in a wild card spot.

With how well everyone performed Sunday, I must give props to these six winners, since I haven’t been shy with naming all losers during the awful performances this season.
