6 huge winners from Carolina Panthers’ win at the Cardinals in Week 10

Joe Brady – Carolina Panthers OC
Offensive coordinator Joe Brady has been on the hot seat all season with how poorly the Carolina Panthers offense has performed. However, his execution and gameplan were nearly flawless on Sunday.
Yes, Carolina settled for four field goals but the Arizona Cardinals have a very good defense. Only having one practice with Cam Newton and four days to talk with him, Brady executed the few amounts of plays with him perfectly.
Brady also had a perfect game script for starter P.J. Walker, who had as solid of a game as a backup could have. Although it remains to be seen whether it’s enough to keep the gig once Newton gets more familiar with the scheme in the coming days.
Christian McCaffrey was finally used in a reasonable amount of plays, rushing the ball just 13 of the Panthers 37 attempts on the ground, and he still managed to have 161 yards from scrimmage.
That is the recipe for success.
For once, it seemed like Brady’s offense knew what it was doing and seemed disciplined. Whether it was Newton’s presence or not, the former passing game coordinator at LSU deserves major credit for this game.
