Robby Anderson – Carolina Panthers WR

In a blink of an eye, Robby Anderson has become a completely different guy than the one that was screaming at his quarterback on the sidelines a week ago.

The addition of Cam Newton seems to already be rubbing off on the wide receiver. Anderson just seems happier and rejuvenated.

Anderson caught a touchdown from Newton in the first quarter and finished the day with four receptions for 37 yards.

We haven’t seen the Anderson that had over 1,000 receiving yards last year and it looked as he was getting worse and more frustrated each and every week with former New York Jets teammate Sam Darnold as his quarterback this season.

Well, Anderson hasn’t stopped smiling since Newton returned to town and they even did a joint-press conference together.

This can only mean good things for the Carolina Panthers moving forward. Anderson has all the talent in the world – something we’ve not seen much in 2021 – so if his chemistry with Newton continues to develop between now and the end of the campaign, it could be the catalyst behind a return to his form last season.
