Haason Reddick – Carolina Panthers OLB

This one should be a no-brainer for the Carolina Panthers. Haason Reddick has been nothing short of sensational after deciding to link up with his former college coach Matt Rhule in the pros, something that’s taken the outside linebacker’s game to completely new heights.

Although Reddick notched 12.5 sacks for the Arizona Cardinals in 2020, there were many that thought this was simply a flash in the pan and padded stats thanks to his five-sack display against the New York Giants.

However, these fears were quashed pretty early on.

Reddick has been a ferocious presence coming off the edge from the moment he stepped onto the gridiron. He is thriving with better talent around him and the Temple product already has 9.5 sacks, 22 pressures, 15 quarterback hits, and 11 tackles for loss through the first 10 games.

The former first-round pick has outperformed fellow pass-rusher Brian Burns significantly. Something that many didn’t predict before competitive action began.

Reddick bet on himself in free agency.

A gamble that’s paid off and then some.

Keeping Reddick around isn’t going to be cheap. But it’s something the Panthers have to get done judging by the player’s overall influence so far.
