Taylor Heinicke – QB

Who would have guessed that Taylor Heinicke would actually be a solid starting quarterback for the Washington Football Team?

While he’s no Joe Montana or even Daniel Jones, Heinicke has been serviceable since taking over the role back in Week 1.

The headlines will obviously surround Cam Newton’s return and his first start, Heinicke will also be in the midst of a revenge game against his former team in the Carolina Panthers.

There have been some games this season where Heinicke has looked awful, particularly in the red zone. But he was a pivotal factor in helping Washington beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.

The Panthers are a tough defense and Heinicke should have a long day against them but Carolina can’t sleep on him. He’s proven capable of handling the big moment in the playoffs last season and should have the mental fortitude to cope with what’s going to be an electric atmosphere at Bank of America Stadium.

Heinicke is sneaky and getting very streaky quickly. The Panthers must keep him quiet to make the Washington offense and some outstanding playmakers suffer in Week 11.
