D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR

  • Over 54.5 receiving yards (-125)

After a strong start to the season, things have tailed off a little for D.J. Moore. This obviously came about because of Sam Darnold’s extreme regression distributing the football, but the Carolina Panthers need more from their best weapon on the outside if they want to achieve a surprise postseason berth.

Moore could be one of the players that benefit most from Cam Newton’s introduction as the starter. Although he won’t have things all his own way against a Washington Football Team secondary that boasts some top performers.

The former first-round pick is likely to be matched up with Kendal Fuller plenty. This should be a fascinating battle and whoever comes out on top could give their side an advantage.

Ron Rivera knows what Moore is capable of. He was part of the decision-making process that eventually saw the wideout taken at No. 24 overall in 2018 and won’t want to be left red-faced upon his emotional return to Bank of America Stadium.

Moore is going to break out of his mini-slump at some stage. Providing the chemistry with Newton is there, it might just be this weekend.

With this in mind, we’re backing Moore to go over 54.5 receiving yards at -125 (bet $125 to win $100).
