3 best prop bets for the Carolina Panthers vs. Washington in Week 11
By Dean Jones
Christian McCaffrey – Carolina Panthers RB
- Over 65.5 rushing yards (-125)
This is a prop bet we tipped last week at the Arizona Cardinals and something Christian McCaffrey managed to secure in the first half. The running back looked like his old self after a lesser role in Week 9 against the New England Patriots and if he can stay free of injury down the stretch, it’s going to help the Carolina Panthers an untold amount.
McCaffrey is explosive and got some nice running lanes from Carolina’s much-improved offensive line. Although yards might be hard to come by up the middle with Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen manning the Washington Football Team’s interior, the absence of both Chase Young and Montez Sweat could open things up on the edge.
This is an area where McCaffrey is best suited, anyway. So hopes are high the All-Pro could be in for another hugely profitable afternoon.
Having Cam Newton – the league’s best-ever running quarterback – in the same backfield once again is only going to help McCaffrey. Washington’s defense is giving up 97.1 rushing yards per game, so it’s going to be a tough test for the Panthers despite Young and Sweat missing the contest.
McCaffrey is not your average running back. Others will obviously shoulder some of the load, but we’re riding the hot hand here and backing the Stanford product to go over 65.5 rushing yards once again at -125 (bet $125 to win $100).
