Which Carolina Panthers players must get more playing time when they take on the Miami Dolphins in a crucial Week 12 matchup?

With the electrifying homecoming of Cam Newton now firmly in the rearview mirror, attention is now turning to a pivotal Week 12 game for the Carolina Panthers. Anything less than a win at the Miami Dolphins will be a substantial blow to the team’s chances of an unlikely playoff spot, so gaining some momentum before their all-important bye is of critical importance.

For once, it wasn’t the Panthers‘ offense that caused frustration during their disappointing loss to the Washington Football Team. Carolina’s defense just couldn’t get off the field for the first time in a while, which stemmed from poor run-stopping and a lack of conviction in the passing game.

The time for excuses is over. Carolina has to get the job done this weekend at a Miami team that has turned things around in no uncertain terms, winning their last three contests when all hope seemed lost.

One could have been forgiven for thinking this was a sure thing in terms of achieving success earlier in the campaign. That is not the case now and the Panthers know they’ll need to put together a complete performance on the road to keep their postseason hopes alive.

It’s hard to put into words the magnitude of this one. A game that’s going to come with some significant ramifications if it doesn’t go according to plan.

Without further ado, here are four Panthers players who must see more playing time in Week 12.
